Some cars need video to truly to capture their essence, and the Hemi Under Glass is certainly one of them.
Here’s a cool little clip of Bob Wriggle describing the wild wheelstanding meets of the ’60s and explaining what it was like to drive the car

that rocking chair was SWEET!
It almost looks like he's steering it down the line.
WOW - That's incredible, US30 Dragstrip that's in the next town north of me. I just walked the length of the old drag strip last year. Abandoned now, but this was the first time I had seen it on video.
Not sure who found that footage but THANK YOU!
on 8th day, god created the HEMI!!!
Great video. Love the rare footage shown. The Hurst Hemi Under Glass is truly a drag racing icon. Also love the rocking chair at the end haha. Any chance we'll see some coverage on the Chevy guys? Yenko, Lingenfelter, Harrell, Berger, etc.?
Now this is the kind of video I like to see on Speedhunters. I'm not really into drag racing but that video kept my attention for the whole 10 minutes. There were interesting facts, interviews and a narrative. Much better than watching music video montages of drifting. I like to know what has happened at an event through video not just look at the same footage over and over again.
