I have photographed a lot of auto racing in the past few years, but this photo has to be one of my favorites. I took this one back in 2006 at the Super Street Time Attack at Buttonwillow. This rotary-powered Datsun 510 belongs to Tod Kaneko and it has competed in every Buttonwillow time attack since 2005. This car is also a favorite of spectators and photographers because of the flames that constantly erupt from its tailpipe.
