Stephen Brooks has just posted up his latest video creation, showing off the lowriders created by the De Alba family in East LA. With a love of lowriding passed down from father to son, the De Albas have created this pair of lowrider Impalas: a ’64 street hopper and ’63 ‘El Rey’. Both cars are beautiful, and whether you’re a fan of lowriders or not you should check out this video for a hydraulic-powered tour of LA. It’s a bumpy ride…

This site completes me.

Wow that was incredible. Probably one of the best shot automotive related videos ive seen in a while. The amount of detail work put into these lowriders is amazing. I don't even know what to call it but that shot of the engine bay? Speechless

I love the variety here on SpeedHunters! I grew up around lowriders and they still have a dedicated parking space in my heart's garage.

oh yeaa, that's what i'm talking about.. Teh style that sparked it all, but i'm sure if you grew up in the LA area you either had a dad, grandpa, uncle or someone who had one of these, as kids we would wave our hand up n down everytime we saw one pass just to hope they would hit them switches! haha the joys of being a kid...

@Esquire Nice choice of words! I agree with you, variety is something Speedhunters has in the bag!

@JosephMcKinney I've been an auto enthusiast since childhood but my automotive interests and diversity has expanded substantially since I've been Speedhunting daily! Before my discovering Speedhunters I had never followed the 24hrs at the "Ring" or LeMans and after reading the coverage on the Long Beach Grand Prix I vowed I would attend next year. Afterall the grand prix is right in my own back yard.....so to speak. Keep up the good work folks as variety is the spice of life.

Low riders are truly among the classic rides in North America! It may bounce up and down but the looks may vary depending on the driver's requirements.
