Today Scion announced a program to give 86 lucky people the chance to purchase the Scion FR-S before it become available to the general public. On January 12th at Noon EST, people will have 8 hours and 6 minutes to log their interest at ScionFirst86.com. Scion will pick the 86 lucky people at random.

Why would I buy this version when I can get the BRZ for the same price range? The BRZ has more features and creature comforts. Scion better sell these at around $20k. Why pay the same price, for a car that has less features?

Now regarding the 86, if I had the bucks and would be resident in the US and not Europe, I'd so buy one:)) But I'd absolutely scratch the Scion name and use proper Toyota labels. Regarding the 4AG.... a modern version is a fantasy that only us know about.
