Before we resume our regular programming, we have the final installment of our Team Need for Speed comic series. This time, the focus is on Fredric Aasbo at Formula DRIFT Irwindale.
Yesterday we released Matt Powers' comic – illustrated by Josh Awesome – which was done in a French cartoon style. For Fredric Aasbo's comic we called upon fellow Need for Speed The Run artist, John Yip.
John consumes a heavy dose of Japanese manga on a daily basis, and this influence has filtered through to his drawing style.
I hope you enjoy reading these comics as much as we enjoyed making them!

looks good aswell, but I think the cars could sth be a tad better, cause the rest is really of high quality but the car sometimes look a bit like a random shape with no detailing

Again totally awesome. Both were amazing but completely different. I would love to see both in a music video format. This style reminds me of Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2H4l9RpkwM&ob=av2e I'd love to see it animated sorta like that (not necessarily with that music). OMG loved the team NFS model illustration. Totally changing Fredric's name out with mine = new desktop <3
