Audi has released its newest A5-based DTM racer ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show, and what a beauty it is. The A5 DTM is built to conform to the new regulations for the 2012 DTM series and is packing a 460hp V8 and aero-tuned carbon fiber body. Audi also says that costs have been reduced 40 percent from the previous model.
Testing has already begun in lead up to the car's competition debut next year.

Beautiful but not as menacing looking as the current cars. Can't beat the curves, arches and wings of the saloon based cars. I personally like the look of the saloons better also.
Thats a beauti. The A5 takes the DTM treatment well.
Wow! I kinda didn't like how Mitsubishi decided to put their evo headlights on every car in their recent lineup. They even went so far as to put them on this new Audi...
Front-mid-engine and rwd. So Audi is confessing that the layout of BMW and Merc is better than their own.
Much more "production" looking. I like
after seeing a DTM TT up close its really crazy the amount of minute aero devices the previous regs allowed.
Wait till you see M3 DTM
I opened the article on my job and I almost got fired for watching porn. #carporn

Audi loves DTM championships. It will stay the same. Audi ruling, others just being there.
