Random Snap>>circuit-spec Cr-z

Whether its luxed out minivans or serious circuit cars – Noblesse seems to have the Honda scene on lock.

Here's their CR-Z project at the track sporting the new Noblesse front bumper, carbon hood. V-Vision suspension, and a set of 17" Volk CE28N's among other things.

Doesn't get much better than this.

3

That looks so good. I have no idea about the speed or performance of the car, but it looks good :)

"doesn't get much better than this"

Um...if you say so. Sure it looks....ok.....and it may even handle....ok.....but it's just an Insight Coupe. I don't see SpeedHunters posting about the Insight, so why post about this? It is literally the same car with a different body.

I think this requires a wallpaper

"It is literally the same car with a different body."

Not so. Honda developed the CR-Z with a totally different purpose all together.

The CR-Z is supposed to be a fun to drive car with good gas mileage, as the Insight was a car with good gas mileage. Sure the car only has 126hp but it has so much more potential.

And its on SpeedHunters because it looks great.

There is a Civic in Europe that comes with a 140hp 1.8L motor with IMA like the CRZ has. some speculate it may be a direct swap.

9

wow....just ....... amazing

needs moar rear diff

I dont understand why people want to swap the engine on the CRZ. Swapping the engine completely ruins the whole purpose of the car. Honda made it a Hybrid for a reason. They want to be able to revolutionize the Hybrid tuning platform. swapping in a K20 or B18 makes it just like every other tuning platform out there.

Found a post with more pictures and info here: http://www.crzforum.com/forum/bulletproof-automotive-forum/1758-noblesse-cr-z-lineup-available-now-bulletproof-automotive.html

I never really liked the CR-Z until I saw this one!

13

Personally I like the C-West kit more.

14

dont swap the engine. theres no point of the CRZ if it were swapped.

15

i hate that people still doubt this car comon Honda gave this to the tuners! they must be doing something!

"dont swap the engine. theres no point of the CRZ if it were swapped"

The major Honda tuners in Japan have already had their way. K20/B18 swapping a CRZ only makes it a faster car but the focus is only on performance. Thats like saying don't engine swap a CRX because Honda made it for fuel economy.

17

UNLEASH THE SPEED !

The CR-Z looks nice, but the whole "hybrid movement" on all new cars isn't cool at all. There are light-weight cars from 20 years ago that can get better fuel economy than an hybrid, and they don't have batteries that will end up poisoning the ground (damn tree-huggers can't get this).

Make light cars, and voila!, better fuel economy and better driving experience.
