Behind the wheel of this E46 M3 we can see Phil Morrison of Driftworks fame. He has no problem driving his daily to the max on the carousel at the Nürburgring and travelling home to the UK the same day. The car is definitely scraping, hence the smoke coming from the front wheels.

why would someone get such crappy, low suspension that it makes the frame hit. you would think a drifter would know better than to ruin a good car, and still expect it to take the tracks, especially the 'ring.
while i think most bmws look pretty garbage... this looks pretty proper

Ello: maybe because its his daily ride and he want the stance its not just for track you know and that bend will seriously depress the springs on the outer wheels.
By the way a bmw m5 v10 is going to find its way in that car soonish!

To answer some questions:
The car is low, but compliant, as a super stiff setup isn't the way to go for me at the Nurburgring. As anyone who has been to the Nordschliefe will tell you: Karrusell is like no other corner in the world. It's made from preformed concrete slabs, and the transitions between the slabs are aggressive enough to give people serious back problems. As you can see, my rear wheel is off the ground, and the front wheel is on mega compression. This is the only corner that it does that, and I can live with that

Helmets aren't mandatory on the public Nordschliefe days, it's considered a public road, so it's up to you.
I'm sure Speedhunters will be seeing some more of this car, as I'm currently fitting an M5 V10 engine and Pectel management.. Thanks for the kind comments :).

To those of you thinking the car is no good on track, Phil laps in the 8 minute bracket IIRC. This isn't a car for handparking, it looks good, but he drives it HARD.
