Random Snap>> Frozen Gtr

I am feeling cold just looking at this photo…brrr…. shouldn't the owner keep a car like this in a nice warm heated garage and only drive it on sunny days?

If you owned this car would you keep it away from salted roads?

The car is owned by a Tacoma, Washington tuning company named Illtech Auto BTW.

I think the owner is also 21. He owns lots of cool cars, I remember talking to him a while back and I think he restores cars?

Maybe the transmission is busted........

No, the GTR isnt a b!tch car, it should be driven no matter what! At least thats what I would do ;)

4

i want to see the summer ride P: ....

5

GT-R in the snow? Yes.

...

On those tires? probably not so much.

6

I hope they part it out.

there was a pic more worrrrse than that. some dude on nagtroc (possibly the same dudE) went away for business with his gtr. left the car parked outdoors over night. came back and the car literally had a layer of ice frozen all around it.

cars are meant to be driven ... this whole 'weekend' car thing is getting way out of hand

Hey, its his car, he can do what he wants with it...I wonder if Nissan thought people would take it this far though..

you call that snow?

and i was having just the same discussion with a friend the other day, albeit the subject was a Veyron. I would most definitely take it out in the snow. a car is meant for driving, not sitting on a pedestal. it should gain well-driven miles, not years ;) as for salted roads, tough call, but more often than not here in London (ontario) they put dirt down instead of salt.

.

hell even Porsche offers winter chains, why not take a GT-R out?

Just think of how cool his intake temps will be!!

On the one hand... Ive never lived in a place where it snows..... jajaja.... and on the other hand, judging by the wheels (they apear to large IMO) this owner will do what they want.

Meh.. its only snow.... as long as its not an everyday thing.

If you search Youtube you'll even find a movie in which a GTR is drifting trough the snow, on special winter tires that is........

"shouldn't the owner keep a car like this in a nice warm heated garage and only drive it on sunny days? "

NO!

Especially AWD cars absolutely NEED to be driven in the snow, it's so much fun! :)

Yeah Porsche has a SNOW driving school in Colorado during the winter. AND what about the snow button in the GTR? I believe it has a gravel one also. Yeah I would drive it everywhere at anytime. I dont think washington uses salt on their roads.

I might try to keep the Farrari F40 in the garage when its snowing, but I cant promise you.
