Damn YM, why do you have to be disrespectful? God forbid anyone has a hobby that they care about or takes measures to take care of their investment (blue tape). I'm sure you don't care about paint chips or bug splatter on your 93 Camry LE (nothing wrong with that), but that's time, work and dedication these guys are rolling with.

nope, my WRX is chipped and bug splattered. because I actually drive my vehicle. my bB was chipped too. cars are not an investment, much like boats, RVs, homes are a real investment. cars are something you drive, abuse and have fun with, not polish with baby diapers everyday.

If you dont think cars are an investment, you should not be on this blog at all. All of the features that Speedhunters has been throwing up has been a reflection of the investment of money, time, intellect, labor, and creativity of its owners and drivers. Your WRX is chipped and bug splattered because you dont care how it looks. Their cars are taped because they have expensive aero, and fresh paint, and are going on a long drive. Its common sense.
care are meant to be driven. all the cars that have been posted here, I would drive the crap out of everyday, no matter how rare or how expensive, weather it be a vintage Skyline, a Ferrari or even a classic Cobra, i would flog the thing to death like it was meant to be. that's common sense. if you paid for the car, enjoy it, drive it.
These bb's are being driven man. They ARE enjoying them. Notice any HPDE track cars who double as DD's wear blue tape? People enjoy their hobbies/investments in individual ways. Peace
the blue tape on stock cars with stock paint is something that's made me wonder. blue tape on any car is weird.

YES, that car is my life, its a hobby, an investment etc... which IS driven (everyday).... which IS enjoyed (everyday).... but not driven into the ground as you suggest... you feel its ok to drive your investments into the ground so be it... thats you.... and from the looks of what everybody else here has posted JUST YOU!
p.s. - i own my house, car(S), pets and have a great job.... don't reflect yourself on me
