More pictures have surfaced of the VW Scirocco racecar which will compete in this weekend's Nurburgring 24 Hour.
The Scirocco will be driven by two-time WRC champ Carlos Sainz and two-time Le Mans winner and 'Ring legend, Hans-Joachim Stuck. The racing bodykit really makes a difference to this car.
The presentation car carries a Nurburgring track graphic on the side of the car.

What is going to be the drivetrain on this car? AWD? FF?
its powered by the same 2.0L Turbo from the race prepped GTI that competed in last years 24hr of Nurb. 321hp and 251lbft tq. it will be a FF setup mated to a 6spd DSG gearbox.
Front wheel drive, Front engined, as per the Production car.
Love the look and styling but just wish it was in an FR layout.
