#IAMTHESPEEDHUNTER:</br>The Workshop Theme

This is it: the first proper theme under the new #IAMTHESPEEDHUNTER. Excited? You should be!

We explained the new purpose of #IAMTHESPEEDHUNTER in a recent post, so you’ll need to take a look at that before anything else. After you’ve read it and understood it, come back and study the following brief until you know it inside and out.

For the month of February, we want you to capture one photograph that you think best depicts workshop life. It can be anything from the tools in use, to the people using them. It can be the end product of countless hours spent slaving away, or the very beginnings of a new project. This is a purposely open-ended brief as we want you to show us what you’re really capable of.

Should you decide to participate, you need to do the following:

  • E-mail your submission to iamthespeedhunter@speedhunters.com with the exact subject line of  ‘The Workshop Theme’.
  • For this theme, you may submit only one photograph.
  • Tell us your name, location and a little bit about the photograph.
  • Attach the image directly to the email but ensure the image is no larger than 2000px on the longest side and a minimum of 1920px.
  • Make sure the image is free of any distracting watermarks. Don’t worry, we will make sure you are properly credited.
  • Closing date for submissions is February 21st 2014.

Be sure to ask any questions below.

Safe shooting.
