It’s official, Gatebil Mantorp is fully under way. It’s been just under a year since I’ve attended one of these mental Scandinavian events but after only moments it was as if I had never left. Cars have been on track for only a few hours now but the carnage of man, machine and the Speedhunters crew is already setting in: tired, soaking wet and full of damaged body parts. In a land where it’s ordinary to be extraordinary and the unexpected is always expected there’s only one phrase to describe the goings on – BECAUSE GATEBIL.
