#iamthespeedhunter: The Detail Theme

It has been a couple of weeks since our last theme, so I thought we were long overdue a new challenge. We want to get people to pick up their cameras and get back out shooting, as it can be too easy to let bad habits take hold and neglect your camera. I wanted a theme that everyone could take part in, regardless of the time of the year or weather conditions. This theme is all about the details…

Looking through the many and varied submissions we receive, it’s quite evident that most of the photographs submitted show the full picture. Whilst this is perfectly acceptable, the full picture sometimes just doesn’t go far enough in telling the whole story.

I want you to arm yourself with your weapon of choice and go seeking out those details and intricacies.

Things that visually stimulate that may not be entirely obvious at first. Change your viewpoint, frame tighter than you usually would and bring us back those details!

If submitting to this theme, I think it’s best to e-mail your submission to iamthespeedhunter@dev.speedhunters.com with the subject line ‘#IATS – Detail Theme’. Don’t forget to give us your name and tell us a little bit about the submission itself.

Safe shooting!
