The 2010 ALMS season for the Falken Tire team had its highs and definitely its lows. With the onset of the 2011 season, they’ve upgraded the 2010 Porsche GT3 RSR to 2011 spec (basically a 2010 car with 2011 bodywork) and also employed a new team to manage the car, Walker Racing. Here’s a film introducing the new team while they were testing at Sebring a few weeks ago during the winter test sessions.

Looking forward what the upgraded car and the new team can do next week with the start of the season at the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Well good luck to them, wish they showed us more on how they are testing and trying to improve their tires. Also you guys need to advertise the 12 hours of Sebring with an article or two.

Can't wait to head to down to Sebring next week! Linhbergh, I'm sure I'll have a fair amount of lens envy should I spot you. If so, I hope you have some Speedhunters stickers on you!

Does anyone else find it absurd that we are not able to watch the 12 Hr this year on TV? According to the ALMS site, the only live broadcast will be through the ESPN website.

That is ridiculous.
