Photos Of The Year 2010>>mike Garrett, Part Three

Welcome to the third and final part of my favorite photos of 2010. I'm sure I speak for all the other Speedhunters contributors when I say that it's hard to grasp just how much we shoot in one year until we put together these posts.

On with the photos!

Above-

Coronado Speed Festival, Coronado Naval Base, San Diego California. A Shelby Mustang chases a Porsche at the Coronado historic races. One of California's great auto events.

X Games 16, LA Coliseum, Los Angeles, California. Mr. Top Gear USA on his way to winning gold at X Games Rally.

Nisei Showoff, Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, California. When the cool cars flock to Little Tokyo, it must be August in Los Angeles.

Formula D Pro Am, Irwindale Speedway, Irwindale California. Pat Cyr's AE86 doing it big at Irwindale Pro Am.

Ruby's Cruise-In, Redondo Beach, California. A Mustang fastback looking absolutely spotless on a Friday evening in Redondo Beach.

X Games 16, LA Coliseum, Los Angeles, California. Sam Hubinette goes airborne.

Long Beach Motorama, Long Beach, California. Traditional hot rods on the floor of the Long Beach Arena. Just like the old days.

Gymkhana Grid Test Day, Hollywood Park, Inglewood, California. An Evo smokes all four in Inglewoooooood.

Formula Drift, Rd.5, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Nevada. Mad Mike lights up the hot desert night.

California Hot Rod Reunion, Famoso Raceway, California. Got your ear plugs? It's the Cacklefest at the 2010 California Hot Rod Reunion.

Billetproof, Antioch, California. Billetproof is another one of must-see events. It always shows that the Northern California rod and kustom scene is just as big as the one down here in LA.

Formula Drift, Rd.5, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Nevada. Formula D veterans Dai Yoshihara and Taka Aono battling it out in Vegas.

Autofashion VIP Festival, San Diego, California. Living the low life on a beautiful November day in SD.

JCCS, Long Beach, California. Classic Toyotas under the sun at the Queen Mary.

Long Beach Motorama, Long Beach, California. Without a doubt this was one of my favorite events of the year. Just look at that scene!

Coronado Speed Festival, Coronado Naval Base, San Diego California. Vintage Trans Am cars blast around the tarmac at Coronado.

California Hot Rod Reunion, Famoso Raceway, California. You haven't experienced motorsport until you've been at the start line of a nostalgia drag event.

Formula D Rd. 7, Irwindale Speedway, Irwindale, California. Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Tanner Foust fight it out in the last FD battle of 2010.

Super Lap Battle Finals, Buttonwillow Raceway, California.  A DC2 Type R screams across the featureless landscape at Buttonwillow.

SEMA 2010, Las Vegas, Nevada. The RTR-X is unveiled to a huge crowd at SEMA. Quite a moment.

Port of LA, San Pedro, California. Another great memory from this year, spending time behind the wheel of the Lexus IS-F.

Mooneyes X-Mas Show, Irwindale Speedway, Irwindale, California. It's December in Southern California. What more could you ask for?

The Rock Store, Mullholland Highway, California. I'll finish off with a shot from the Hotchkis cruise a couple weeks ago.

Not a bad way to cap off another great year of capturing automotive culture.
