Here’s something a bit different from the usual RX7’s, Silvias, and Imprezas we’ve been seeing – a hopped up Volvo 240 Turbo owned by reader Bamse of Finland.He didn’t leave much info about the car, aside from the fact that it’s in the process of being rebuilt.

i have nothing but respect for the volvo tuning scene. those guys make some incredible looking cars and this one stays true to form. 240 ftw.
How do you get that effect on the hood?
Take a picture of the car with and without the hood, then photoshop em together with the hood-on version on the top layer. Then either erase with a low setting or mess with the layer's transparency. =D

Take a shot of it in the same spot with the hood up and down. Then layer the "hood down" one on top and erase some of it.
After owning three 240's i can't help but rubberneck when i see a clean one drive by.... thanks for mixing things up guys!

Owned two 240 (GL break), not powerfull, but always loved riding these machines. The 740 is heavier, you feel this when driving fast on little and sinuous roads, as it is where I live...

Hey guys if you would like info on this car the owner and his friends made a whole video series of this car being rebuilt on youtube. Look up "Bamses Turbo Underpants", Funny name but an insanely fast and it makes one of the meanest sounds I've ever heard.
