As you may have heard, lead Toyota test driver Hiromu Naruse passed away yesterday behind the wheel of a Lexus LFA prototype near the Nurburgring.
Naruse was much more than just a test driver though, and he played a large part in the development of numerous Toyota vehicles loved around the world over several decades.
Adam Zillin over at 7Tune has put together a very nice tribute to Naruse-san, which I suggest you take a look at.

Apparently due to a head on crash?
you were a great man Hiromu :*(
Wooowww !!! A man with a life like that is surely not something to feel bad about, his legacy will continue with the cars he helped produce and create. But still his wisdom and creativity will be missed by the automotive world. R.I.P.
RIP
Rest in Peace Naruse-sama...
We envy your way of departure
sad to hear this.RIP
Respect is due... RIP..
I read it on Jon Sibal's blog, definitely sad news, especially since the passenger also did not make it
R.I.P Sensei, we all will miss you.
It look`s like old FSO Polonez :D:D
respect is due to a great test driver, but im sorry car was in the opposing lane and 3 people are dead as a result. should have kept it on the ring itself and not the streets around it. More bad press for toyota.
I'm not an idiot. I'm a f*cking designer, with my designs sold globally, and I won an international design contest. This guys "creativity" will not be missed, because he was not paid to be creative. He provided feedback. THAT IS IT. Quit pretending he is responsible for all those cars. He wasn't.
