As I sit here on yet ANOTHER humid and rainy day in Japan, I am reading stories from my friends back home in California talking of 110 degree heat. Yikes. Anyways, that got me thinking of shooting events at Buttonwillow Raceway during the summer and battling the dry heat and all the dust. Not fun. I took this photo during last year's Vintage Auto Racing Association meet, and you can almost feel the heat as you look at the photo. While the heat may have been bad, seeing cool stuff like Corvette roadster racing a Shelby Mustang more than made up for it.
