While I’ll be the first to admit that motorcycles are unfamiliar territory to me, the idea of motorcycle engines swapped into cars has always been exciting. Of course you can’t really just toss a bike motor into any old car – it should be something very small and very light. Something like this Mini built by Speedhunters reader Robert Valk.
The response to our call out for reader-owned Mazda Roadsters has been nothing short of overwhelming. Even as I write this, submissions are still flooding into the #FeatureThis inbox. It was incredibly difficult trying to narrow down the submissions to something manageable, and we’ve tried to come up with a selection of cars that represents the global appeal and culture that surrounds Mazda’s popular sports car. There’s a lot to see, so let’s begin!

Today’s #FeatureThis submission comes from the always lively Pacific Northwest. The car in question is a 1973 Celica ST owned by Matt Panic from Seattle, and as the opening photo suggests, Matt’s Celica is not your typical vintage cruiser.
After a quick break for SEMA week, #FeatureThis is back and better than ever. Beginning this week, we decided to merge the submissions from Japan with those from the rest of the world for a true global pool of automotive greatness.

With fall in the air around much of the world, this photo of an AE86 kicking up some leaves on the streets of Japan seems like a fine way to open up this week’s edition of #FeatureThis. If you look at this photo taken at Boost Logic in Austin, Texas, it looks much like your typical high end tuning shop. You can see a couple Nissan GT-Rs, a pair of Lamborghinis, a Lexus IS300 and even a Datsun 240Z. Among the bunch, however, there is one car though that looks rather out of place a – 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis owned by Speedhunters reader Joey Lopez.
Before I head out for a busy weekend with my fellow Speedhunters at Formula Drift Irwindale, we have yet another great edition of #FeatureThis. It’s truly enjoyable going through all the submissions each week, and I think this week’s batch of cars clearly demonstrates why.
