Aston Martin today announced the replacement for the popular DBRS9 in the shape of the new Vantage GT3 which will be ready for competition in 2012. The car is based on the V12 road car and will feature a lighweight V12 engine with a target output of 600BHP and 700Nm of torque. The other build highlights include an Xtrac six speed sequential gearbox, easily accessible drop gears, carbon fibre propshaft and a target weight of 1250KG dry.
26 DBRS9s were built for competition and enjoyed relative success around the world but the all new Vantage GT3 will benefit from the experiences and lessons learned from the DBRS9.

Having run GT3 Lambo's and Ferrari's she is a bit of a porker and will more than likely have a power restriction slapped on it. But still she looks beautiful.
