56 seconds around Tsukuba is seriously quick and it’s usually 650+ HP turbocharged cars that manage to record times like this. So you can imagine how happy the driver of the Kyushudanji NSX was when he managed to lap Tsukuba in 56″959 sec this past Sunday at the Battle Evome session. Turn your speakers up and enjoy.

Lol Ive done that in 54' of course that was Gran turisimo 5 but hey... I can dream of the actual opportunity right?

WOW, from the video, I havent heard any signs of a turbo. Amazing for an NA car. Anybody know how fast the Esprit NSX laps Tsukuba? The reaction of the driver was priceless upon knowing the laptime. Ahh, the joys of life.

Good lord, ITB's on NSX's sound amazing.

9

And it wasn't even on a sequential gear box.

Nice!

10

now that what you call driving.. love the sound - 10/10 thanks for a fantastic video roll!

11

Meh.... Tsuchiya-sensai did it in 51"875

It was a Super GT NSX with 500hp and was NA.

Meh i tells you... meh

12

Does anyone know if this was the Red or White NSX from the previous post?

13

Awesome video...and that sounds like a pure NA engine right there...

he even did that by hitting rev limiter right before the final corner...very impressive.

and props to the R32 driver for getting out of his way, very classy

18

anyone know the spec of the car?

19

Bucc-i, yeah and what does that car have in common with a street NSX? Wakisaka has done 46.9 in a Formula Nippon, so is that "meh" to Tsuchiya's lap?

The most insane thing about this NSX how deep it goes to corners. Ridiculous braking capability...

20

I believe this NSX has been stroked to 3.4L with ITBs, sounds it makes is awesome

21

Love It,he is hitting the limiter on the final approach of the last corner now thats how to setup a car !

22

NA is BEST!

I<3Honda

23

you have to think though tsuchiya did this in a gt500 car that was stripped of everything and really only barely resembles the street gong version of the nsx and he did it with slicks and i think this was done on street tires. albeit really sticky street tires

24

Proper track etiquette from the other drivers. This is what you do when a faster car is coming up behind you, you move over!

Love that engine note too.

25

@TheFinn294, its the white one

26

A turbo on car this and you can get of about 2 or 3 seconds with no fuss...

27

Type the letters that you see in the above image

28

The fact that he hits the limiter on the approach to the final corner means the car would have lost a little bit of time due to loss of acceleration, wonder how much time could be gained if that gear was a little longer.

29

50 % car, 50 % driver = a serious NA racing setup !!

30

It's been a very busy couple of weeks for the grassroots time attack scene here in Japan, and of

31

Wow sounds fully hektik when the Vtec kicked in yo

32

a sequential gearbox could've shaved off a few secs. but great driving none the less. the car bugged down though at 59', another mistake.

33

his NSX is 3.2 litter natural asupirated developped Tomiyoshi racing powered aroud 380PS.

normal gear box and braking system is normal rotor, normal kaliper.

also he is amateur driver.

i am his good colleague.
