A couple years ago, we ran a series of guest blogs from the folks at Titan Motorsports chronicling the build of a tube chassis Toyota Supra drag car bound for EKanooRacing in the Middle East. It’s been a while, but the car is most certainly still in around. In fact, it just turned in a record-setting import/sport compact pass running 6.05 @ 240mph!

As you're posting drag cars: Will there be anything here from Drag Week, as Larry Chen spent a few days with them? I understand they might have been an assignment from Hot Rod, and as such he can't show us any of those photos, but he should at least have some contacts for a feature or two? After all, those cars are rather… Speedy….

The motor have a Fully Built 2JZ With a STOCK Block not ported or nothing! STOCK BLOCK!
Supra has never left.... You guys should cover the largest annual Supra gathering, Supras In Vegas, over 160 cars this last September.

That's great! I met the guy from Titan who does the chassis, although I cannot remember his name. He used to do some chassis work at our shop when we had a 6 second Lightning Drag truck. I remember in the supra build seeing him in the pictures doing the chassis for this car. I'm super happy to see that the car has reach the Low six second zone. On to the fives!

Ummm, fast for sure, but if the speed posted (307.69) is in kph, that's 191 mph, not nearly 240...
@bv911 It clearly shows 387.69 though. 6.05 wouldn't be possible otherwise.

these guys win every race that isnt a race. Cant take away from the results, but would love to see them get results like this in the heat of competition, so until they do, lest not call it a drag racing record at all!

You guys should check out a car called El Jerry. They've been chasing these guys and came close last weekend with a 6:08 in Orlando
