In just under two weeks time, on September 7th and 8th, both Larry Chen and myself will be heading to Northern California’s Sonoma Raceway where the FIA Word Touring Car Championship will be making its second-ever stop on American soil.

In addition to the fender-banging action that will be unfolding on the scenic race circuit, there will be plenty of other exciting stuff for car enthusiasts to enjoy over the course of the weekend – including both drift and time attack demos.

Fatlace will also be holding its Slammed Society Showcase at the event, which will mark the return of the popular car show series to its home turf in the Bay Area.

As we’ve done in the past, Speedhunters will be teaming up with Slammed Society for a #FeatureThis promotion.

We’ll pick one of our favorite cars of the event for an on-the-spot shoot by Larry, with the full feature appearing right here on Speedhunters in the days following the event.

So whether its the international-grade motorsport action on the track or the selection of custom machines in the Slammed Society Showcase, it’s shaping up to be a fun petrol-filled weekend. We hope you’ll be able to join us.
