We’re eight hours into the ADAC Zurich Nürburgring 24 Hours and the rain is relentlessly lashing down. The race has been stopped for almost two hours now, neutralised under red flag conditions. The cars have been parked up in the pit-lane, whilst the crews go into hibernation awaiting announcement of a possible restart. The conditions are being assessed every half an hour.

Larry arrived back in the media centre more water receptacle than man. We’ve hung him up to dry and the water is slowly draining out of his cameras: this beautiful capture also dripped out. Daybreak seems to be the earliest that these Porsches will get to head back out on track…
