Is it time for Le Mans yet?

Check out this nice little video clip that Morgan put together previewing their return to the big race with the help of OAK Racing.

I wonder if they use any wood in the composite construction lol.

Definitely isn't a diesel, i wonder if it is a bespoke motorsports engine or an oem. Judging by the sound im guessing not oem. Still good to see Morgan having fun at the track.

With regards to the engine they are using the same basic 4.0 BMW engine that they use in the Aeromax. But it's then modified to LMP2 standards by Engine Developments.

can't believe an high end production clip like this with this hooby videomaker audio *****quality? how you doin' Speedhunters?

Over-modulated analog mics sound good to some, but I think this is a little bit too much, can't tell if it's the car or the sound. Some editors love it, others think its tacky. It worked well in the Ferrari/Shell advert a few years ago.

Yes that sounded terrifying.

WILL IT HAVE 3 WHEELS??? LOLOL

Anyone else find it strange that it's an OPEN COCKPIT? There's no advantage to running open-cockpit anymore, from what I can tell. Audi switched over because they changed the rules so only one person could change tires, effectively eliminating the advantage to quick driver changes with an open-cockpit design. Closed cockpit should allow for better aero and therefore higher top speed.

EDIT: Whoops, didn't read "LMP2". I was thinking LMP1 for the cockpit thing...
