RANDOM SNAP>> SPRING INSPIRATION

Spring has arrived in most parts of the world. Racing season is underway and project cars are being pulled out of hibernation. My own 240Z is long overdue for some loving and seeing this S30 photo on Minkara has me feeling very motivated to charge up the dead battery and pull the car out of the garage for the first time in a long while.

Any one else feeling inspired about their cars with the change of seasons?

All this sunshine and spring break means only one thing. the Cobra II is finally getting low

What do you mean 'most of the world'? Half of the globe is coming into autumn, reflecting on a great summer's speedhunting. Some of this blog's finest rides come from Down Under, don't forget!

im going to finish the little things that need to be done on my supra:)

FC is getting a quarter panel and paint this summer, but first, need to put the motor back together in the subaru.

Yeah time head back home and strip the FD I think

Totally! I'm gonna swap out my 5.0's broken T-5 tranny that gave up on me last November and I'm changing it for a 6-speed T-56 i got from a 2003 Cobra... I also got new leather seats out of a 2007 s197 mustang and a 13 inch Roush brake kit for the rear I just ordered.

My god its the Devil Z RUNWAWAY!!

Makes me sad seeing my 240Z sitting there every time I leave the driveway :-(

5 Lug converstion, r32gtr brake swap, coils, wheels, sparco seats and 4 point belts, some lips and skirts (for the car ;)) and get it to the painter. Hopefully my S13 is ready this summer.

I feel like giving an advice to all the young people out there. I have always had a habit of making eace cars ( not road legal) of everything I drive. I have at the moment a bmw e36 and a Lancia Integrale sitting in the garage fully prepared with roll cages and the lot and what am I forced to drive when the spring finally arrives? A renault kangoo diesel van! Building race cars and being creative in the garage is a lot of fun, but make sure you have something fun to drive on the road. I suddenly got the urge to find a little peugeot 106 to thrash around with squeeling wheels. No its not going to be a kit kar replica..

@ Brad with the Prelude - Dude only thing holding you back is YOU. There are plenty of mods for Preludes, I have them :)

Defintily need to go back to work on my 240Z after i wasn't able a few months now :)

My project has been going on for 3 years now. Gotta start up my s13 200sx with ca18det this year!

I'm behind schedule on getting the Jag prepped and painted. Should have had it all done already. The EF hatch is pulling commuter duty right now, thanks to the fuel prices. I need to get the Corviar out and exercise it too. Wish I had a 240Z to play with. Maybe trade the EF? ;D The FZ6, of course, is always ready to fly.

Yes, I am going to be getting a 1977 Chevorlet Corvette from my grandpa and I will be restoring it this summer.

I wish I could do mods. I have a 1990 Prelude Si :(

yep, ke70 got pulled out this week ha!

just got my first car (280z 2+2) and just starting to fight off all of the rust. time to start saving for some nice shiney 240z bumpers!

I would love to get my hands on an old school Z

Feeling the same. Went to the eagle rock swap meet and picked up some aluminum brake drums and interior pieces. Still have a few more things I need to get to finish rebuilding the brake system and need to send the drums to get relined. Happy wrenching.

must finish my 69 chevy so i can finance my own 240z build

I'm working on selling my 1987 RX-7 GXL so I can make space to start an engine swap on my 1986 RX-7 Sport. It already has a JDM S5 13BT in it, but it's burning coolant. I got two more 13BTs, three transmissions, and a whole bunch of other parts for $250 from a friend that are waiting to be transplanted. I just need the driveway space!

I have a '78 280z which I'm pulling the engine out of this weekend

straight out of wangan midnight. :)

new sticky tires on, new sticky brake pads on..time to get some gear heads together and head to the hills for a mountain run. ;)

Just got new wheels on, now i gotta pull my fenders and put my new coils on. Also need a rollbar and need to weld my dif so i can destroy it at the track this summer then start again next winter. Lifes good haha.

I plan on pulling my engine and trans from Volvo 245 next weekend.

Ive got parts that have been sitting in my house for months so I think Im finally gonna get out and putem all on my mustang!
