RANDOM SNAP>> BOROBORO 86 IN SCALE

This photo of an amazingly detailed AE86 model popped up on my Facebook feed a while back and I just realized I forgot to share it here.

Does anyone out there happen to have any more photos or details about this creation?

The car is not real. This car was made by my best friend and now sits on my desk at work along with 8 other models we built together. We didn't copy this model from a real car. We just had a bunch of parts lying around and decided to built something for fun. We painted it this way intentionally just to make it look like an old AE86 drift car. The 2000Y on the fender is in pencil and in my hand writing so impossible to be real especially since I own it

That is our car it is real not a model although we do have a model. This is an AE86 it has been fully restored. It has now been painter for all of you out there talking trash it is a very awesome car. It is now red with black rims... It took us about 175 man hours to fix the engine and about 20 man hours to fix the body not bad I say. It is also for sale for 200,000 euro's or about $125,000.

I'm loving this rusty, wheels-on-the-back look. Oh how I yearn for one of these (either model or real!).

dammm i wonder how fast that car is

Man, really spark. this car is super cool. can any1 tell me how to lower and adjust the camber im working on a supra.

@Spark who said: Looks like crap. Learn how to paint. LOL Dislikers gonna Dislike, You obviously dont understand how much time it takes to make a 1/24 look as realistic as this car, or your thought may have actually take time to type out on screen.

To : the dummies putting this model car and its builder shut up ! Oh yeah that is not a rat rod look that is the under construction look and being able to paint a model car like that is extremely difficult to do. I think the car is awesome, heck at first thought it was real . To: the builder you did a great job !

Done by a Thailand man, great guy and great modeler..

So realistic, wish I could do that

i think it's toppi's work... i sent this picture on 86ers.org facebook wall... it's 1/24 and I knew the topic of this build but the website does not exist anymore :( thaiplamo...

Good work but i effing hate it when someone takes a perfectly good car and then give it the rat rod treatment. Its not too common to find 86s all rustied up and shit

Looks like it's based on 1/24 Fujimi kit.... looks good~
