As far as the S15 goes, to me there are two famous cars that come to mind. One is Yasuyuki Kazama’s green car and the other is the HKS S15 driven by NOB Taniguchi. It was hard to pick one over the other, so why not go with both? Here’s a cool clip of the two iconic Silvias going at it at Sugo back in 2004.

With today’s world of super high speed drift courses, it’s hard to remember that D1GP once ran on what was essentially a go kart track…

Its funny to see D1GP started on Go-kart tracks too ....

Seeing as the home of Irish drifting was a Go-Kart track as well ,

I think every Drifting fan in Ireland has some great memories of that Oval track , Rosegreen .

If its not watching the likes of Eric O sullivan in his F20 powered 86 , its seeing the very young James Deane rise through the ranks.

Damn lmfao that track is tight !

This is real drifting right here.

4

dey should bring back more technical courses

5

Agreed. I would love to see D1GP go back to driving technical courses rather than people building cars with 1000+ HP and drift two corners at 110mph.

Good ol' times !

I always prefered Kazama even if he wasn't as regular as Taniguchi.

WAKU WAKU STYLE !

We wants moar LOW BRAIN DRIFTERS PS13!!

This era of D1, when smaller courses like bihoku, Sugo, Tsukuba, etcc were in use was the best. These two cars (and drivers), are also two of my favorites! Excellent idea to include both.
