I know I missed the boat on this one, but I hadn’t watched it until recently, and I really enjoyed the series. This is part 1 of a series of videos following Gunnar Racing and thier restoration of a Porsche 917 with some interesting history. Some great insights into how detailed restorations can be, and how these monsters were originally built by Porsche. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I must go along with Question's question tho. The RX7 build has never left my subconscious. Please tell us we will see the rotary garage glory again!!!!

I had the chance to visit those guys shop in Florida, it is an amazing place. I wasn't even a prospective customer an they did let me look around with my kids. Great peoples.

if he says it was a yellow one, than it has to be te piper-lennep... they drove in 1970... with the sandeman vinyl on the front of the car!!! pure nostalgic!! awsome

I'm still working on the RX7, but took a bit of a hiatus because of work and life, but its back on track and there will be an update soon. The race car will one day scream!
