I'm sure a lot of you have seen Andy's recent post about the concept C-X16 that Jaguar has created. Our friend Al Clark sent me this video a couple of days ago and I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing the car in motion. Who is going to start the petition to ensure Jaguar puts this into production?

I may or may not know about Jaguar inside information, but i'm quietley confident power will be somewhere in the region of the upper bound of the CAR estimates, nearer the C-X16 specs...

Every time I look at it, I see something from the latest Nissan cars (GT-R/370Z) combined with a bit of Aston Martin style ...
Amazingly beautiful lines of a futuristic concept brought to life, so good to see Jaguar alive and well. I see a lot of AstonMartin in the body shape but also some FT86 in the modern aspects of the car. Nice to get a good look thru the HD video, so cool !!!!!!!!

Someone in Marketing will get their claws into this project, talk about how focus groups show that economy is more important than performance, and they'll end up putting a v6 in it. Then they will say that the hard lines on the body are a bit aggressive for the target market, they will turn it into another XKish car, and voila! Jaguar will release another meh car to the world.
Looks perfect, I feel like the new FT86 should look similar.
I was dissapointed that there was more lame music then vehicle exhaust notes... That was when I thaught it had a 3.0l V8 with 380hp (thanks to Andy Blackmores post) but now that I read into the vehicle... I find out that the plans have always been to place a supercharged 3.0l V6 with 375hp (no V8) into it and now I'm not so dissapointed about not hearing the vehicle... because honesty, I could care less about the sound of a V6. Now I'm just dissapointed that there WILL NOT be an awsome 3.0l V8 in the vehicle. Thanks Andy! This car blows!
Gorgous lookin concept, very nice design, but as usal, that acual style wont be driven by the public, theyll have a ok sprot model and a ugly lookin base model. and i already now they will build some ugly ass factory wheels for them. Just lookin at that shot from the vid. thats a JAG. a Jag that u can consider to be exotic. as i say fantasic design. but it wont be sold to the public.
If this does get made it will be with a Aston Martin badge.
