Street course events are always great, and they get even better when the participating car list includes some of history's greats.
That's just what happened at the recent Verva Street Racing event in Poland. Speedhunters reader Adrian Lepa was kind enough to send us some photos from this celebration of speed on the streets of Warsaw.
The 100 + entries in this unique event included everything from classic Formula cars…
…to modern DTM machines.
There were also street cars getting in on the action, like this pristine looking E30 M3.
There were plenty of Porsches to be found as well, with this radical 9FF representing the modern side of things.
Anyone for a Martini?
Don't forget about the 914 either.
Love the Z4 GT car in BMW's factory racing colors.
A Shelby GT500 brings it's distinct supercharger whine to the streets of Warsaw.
This satin blue Camaro was also out there taking laps. Seems the American V8s have a decent following in this area.
I can only imagine how good the vintage Formula One cars sounded as they made their way through the streets.
Speaking of sounds, I bet this Red Bull NASCAR Toyota broke some ear drums as it performed its demo runs. Hey, what's with that rear tire?
Ah, that explains it!
85,000 spectators filled the seats of the Warsaw street course, and after looking at Adrian's photos it's not hard to see why.

its great to see that they do events like this in Poland as there is millions of car enthusiasts. People love seeing things like this and as im Polish my self - althou living in the uk i love the fact that events like this get more popular in Poland! ROCK ON!
