Random Snap>> Jaguar E-type At Kew

Sunshine on a spring day. Cricket being played on the village green outside Kew Gardens in West London. And a V12 Jaguar E-Type convertible. Perhaps the perfect English combination for the perfect English classic sportscar? There's something about the long, swooping lines of an E-type that stops me in my tracks: from the four-pipe exhaust with its rounded-rectangular cross-sections to the beautiful typographic V12 logo on the boot lid. And then those wire-wheels, the tapering bonnet and raised flanks. To me it's still one of the prettiest cars ever made. Pure car artistry. The only drawbacks with this one was it suffering from being parked under a bird-heavy tree and needing a spot of chrome polish to bring those bumpers back to life…

always loved these.. especially when got to drive one on the open road. - don't see too many out and about much now - mainly at shows, they can be seen and heard purring away - classic!
