why didn't the pace-car get off?

3

Some people gonna get fired for this. That's about a $3 million fuckup right there. if I was a team manager I would be SCREAMING.

4

So did someone hit the start lights by accident? Or what?

5

so the safety car driver was fired right? fail.

6

Watched the rest of that race, was good. Some very good GT battles.

Except for the AMR One being utter crap, but hey I admit it was really just a first test of the car.

Looking forward to my next ray of sunshine at Spa next month.

I hope you guys report on Spa 24 hours, it is going to be big, mean, and ugly between all the manufacturers.

typical Audi driver

I bet those race teams are beyond pissed at ALMS. I'm sure ALMS isn't going to pay for those race car damages.

9

10

Blame it on the french haha

The beginning of the 2011 race season has not been kind to Porsche :(

12

Just a slight miscomunication on that one!!!!!! Maybe the controls for the lights should be in the safety car?

13

This isn't the ALMS, it's the LMS in Europe.

14

i would drive my GT car up to the pace car driver and wreck his dumbass!

15

terrible, just terrible

Drivers were warned the SC would stay one lap more. At least several said they were warned. The mistake was the race direction switched the green lights on.

A few GT drivers had their share in the mess: accelerating straight into protos that were not at full speed was not very smart.
