Like a lot of you, I spent most of Saturday glued to my laptop screen, watching the proceedings from Formula D Long Beach. It was a bit of a bittersweet moment for me. On one hand, I’m absolutely ecstatic for Matt Powers and the Team NFS crew, but on the other hand I’m a little gutted I won’t be part of the Formula D circus any more. I’m moving to Stockholm in a few days and will be focusing my attention on our various European projects there. So there just isn’t time to be involved in Formula D any longer.

Anyway… never mind that. I wanted to show you this video which the team has quickly whipped up. You can see the new updated, reformatted, Matt-Powers-as-serious-competitor in action, doing what he does best. It seems like a second wave of drifters are coming into Formula D now to challenge the old guard and Matt has just joined this select group of skidders.

Enjoy!

I love watching any drift videos but 3 1/2 minutes of onboard camera facing the driver is boring.
