This year's Hillclimb events just got a whole lot more interesting. This BMW E82 has just had its first shakedown. Despite some small electrical problems the car looks like ready to attack the mountains. The car is powered by a JUDD 3.4 litre V8 and pushes 550ps. You can hear the car being fired up in this video made the by the Hillclimbfans website.

well this is got to be the baddest beemer on th eplanet - I mean Plasas old car was breathtaking but this 1 series coupe is out of space. Built to exploit the regulation, this car weights 785kg with 5l fuel in the tank. Its a designated hillclimber and apparently as fast as a F3000 on the hill. I cant wait to see it at Rechberg this year. The Judd only weights 115kg and goes 12000rpm - the best combo for a winning car on the hill

AWESOME! I wish we had more hill climbs in the US. :/ Granted we have arguably the biggest one in the world in colorado, I wish California was more open to these sorts of things. I will say that its a step in the right direction having spectre in nevada open to the public.

sorry but the baddest hillclimb beemer on the planet is the x5 lemans, this ones still cool though.
