After going to the Mooneyes show on Saturday, I'm still in that rod and kustom state of mind. Today's reader collectables post fits right in with that theme.
Gerald from the Netherlands sent us this photo his 1/24 scale recreations of a '53 Chevy Bel Air and a '54 Chevy pickup in both stock and customized form. He hopes one day to build real versions of these models.
That's what building model kits is all about right? Dreaming of the real thing. Thanks for the photo Gerald.

Those really are nice. It is always a chore to modify the body to such an extent, and lay down a flat/matte/primer paint job. The dull sheen colors really do bring out even the most minute imperfections, and I don't see any in this pic. very nice models!!
