This Karmann Ghia has been converted into a full blown dragster. I don't have any information on the car itself except that it has a flat four 2.8 litre engine (and I really like the photo)

T34 Razoredge Karmann Ghia with a 2276cc Type1 VW engine (not 2.8). Built by the Paintbox in the UK and driven/owned by Joe Gallagher.
by the looks of it, the car has no engine. ;p
Seen this plenty of times, not a low car either. But I couldnt tell you any more about it.
Here's one of the front for you; http://www.flickr.com/photos/jay_p/5008607585/in/set-72157624997953502/
or a Type 34.
That's definaely not a Karmann Ghia... I've had 2. That looks like a corvair. with a VW style stinger exhaust.
not a slow car*

Hi Jeroen,
Thanks for selecting my image as your random snap. This Ghia is run by Joe Gallagher. All I know is that it's exceptionally quick a beautifully prepared in retro style.

Cheers,

Desktop please! I'd definately like to see this beauty on my desktop. And... the picture is clean, it would be easy to see the icons, so it's perfect for wallpaper
video please
Thanks for all the comments
zmankellan - it's deffo a Karmann Ghia! A type 3 Ghia, not the usual type 1 Ghia!
Engine was 2276, then it had a 2.8 Pauter big block and now it's a 2387. Always been n/a. It's evolved a bit over the years, it now has a ladder bar rear end. A few plans for the winter, some weight loss and hopefully get back to the times the 2.8 was running.
I'll try to post some more pics and video when I get some time.
Thanks again. Joe
-I said a ten-*second* car, not a ten-*minute* car.

- You could push this across the finish line, or tow it.
- You couldn't even tow that across the finish line.
