
Here's another 1JZ-powered E36, this one built by several years ago by Impact Magic in Osaka, Japan. It's not as extreme as some of the builds out there today, but I remember being blown away when I saw this car in Option Magazine back then. With a twin turbo inline six, I guess you can consider it a homebuilt predecessor to the current 335i.
Besides this Toyota-powered 318is, you might also remember the black E36 that these guys built with a Honda F20C under the hood.

i remember the BMI Touge coverage for this car. tsuchiya was always surprised seeing the redlin go pas the rev line. XD

Looks good. Proper driving machine, no fancy "look at me" crap.
This is what i call a good looking E36, not that bratwurst tuning from europe!
Don't care for the stickers on the side. Everything else looks pretty sharp. The E36 has very crisp lines. Beautiful car
