Man, if only these guys had come out to the Red Bull event last November… I think we would have seen the greatest drift competition ever!… Oh well, for now we have to watch these shakey cam-corder videos… None-the-less you have to marvel as the madness of the Nomura’s drift initations! Completely Jaw dropping….

Ray, Have you seen the first vid ? You can see that Nomuken doesn't catch and doesn't initiate his entry earlier ... on the second run, Imamura is glued to Nomuken as fast as possible !!! THIS is incredible !!!!

I say Imamura. Nomuken had crazy angle, yes, but Imamura was able to match and catch up to him pretty quickly in the runs.

Amazing battle. I think Imamura won because there seems to be more judging emphasis on "locking on" to the leader in tsuiso, rather than angle or other style factors. From this fixed camera angle, Nomuken's run was definitely the crowd pleaser though. Go Nomuken!!!
thats almost like 90 degrees of angle ! insane, notice how the stands are almost empty though, kinda sucks

I don't remember where but I saw a vid where Kumakubo had a crazier angle than that (I even wonder how it can be possible to go further than that)
