Archive>> The J-roc

My post with the Japanese style C5 Corvette seemed to generate a fair amount of interest so, here is a shot of another Japanese take on an American icon. This beautiful 3rd generation Camaro was driving in the same event as the 'Vette from the previous post. Check the Volk Racing GT-P wheels and the JDM standard Advan A048 rubber. These cars may have a less than ideal image nowadays, but seeing a well-kept, track driven example like this one is a real treat. I remember really liking these cars during my childhood and I was very impressed to see this one tearing it up at Tsukuba Circuit.

It's fun to browse the Yahoo auctions for American cars.

I also have a soft spot for IROC-Z's. My dad's was the first car I ever drove. I'm sad because today it's being taken to the scape yard :(

A lot of power and good memories . Thanks Mike for featuring this car.
