With so many drift videos out there these days, filmmakers are always trying to find ways to set their footage apart.

One way to do that is by hiring out a helicopter for some overhead views.

Check out this cool chopper footage of D1NZ drivers doing their thing.

Very cool. There's something really elegant about this camera angle

reminds me of WRC videos, like the old Safari ones especially.

There is just something about drifting that doesn't do anything for me. I find it just second to drag racing as one of the most boring forms of motorsports. I'm not attempting an argument here, I'm just expressing my thoughts.

Drifting has taken on some type of fashion sense or "fad" as you can say vs. being a form of rally.

Very cool to see it from above. Especially the multiple smoke trails.

7

I dont like it, cant even hear the whine of the 4 rotor!!!!!! (except when the chopper is close in one shot)

It's funny that the only car you can hear over the chopper noise is Mad Mike's car, that thing must be terrifying IRL

Curt, and Mad Mike's cars are so awesome. Definitely inspirational.

Not bad! But the closer views are much better I think.

Love how you can hear the MadBull over the chopper, shear awesome.

I love this. No BS "I think I'm Saul Bass" editing and no over-the-top music. Just a helicopter
