Ken Block's Gymkhana series has always been about driving prowess. Though there's been a few slap stick gimmicks thrown in the past few installments, in its essence, it has still been about the just driving. This fourth installment is no different. The gimmick level has been taken up quite a few levels but in an amazingly entertaining way.

Watch it and witness a powerhouse of a man do what he does –enjoying life with the best of his abilities.

Once again dopeness

2

Ken Block just ruined the Gymkhana series. He tarted it up by making it all...what's the word....Ken Block-ish.

3

My heart is a little sad. I liked it better when it was just the driver and his car. Tried too hard to make it a short movie.

4

Ehh.. to silly. Cool, entertaining. But not the greatest.

I'm not too sure if i like how you can see skid marks from all the previous times he's driven through the scene.. That's probably why he's suckin it up in real rally, he can't do stages over and over again and use just the good runs.

This episode was way too staged (no pun intended) and too organized. The sickest part was the goon on the ladder.

5

wow that sucked

6

What happen just not the same ! Doing to much now, I want to see good driving, Originality not a blockbuster movie !

7

To bad he is still the laughing stock of the WRC, any of the top drivers in the WRC are more than capable of doing EVERYTHING in these videos. And so many people don't notice that he takes multiple attempts to do this stuff, thats why he crashes all the time in WRC.

8

@6:40 That guy has balls

9

Mind. Blown. Is there a in depth feature on his Fiesta?

10

boooooring...

11

Awesome, hows he doing in WRC again? :oopsie:

12

What a cool way to tour Universal Studios!

13

the only misstake i saw -different glasses at some times :) glod, and later he has purple :)

14

a true mesh of cinematography / automotive action / entertainment

it was truly entertaining

15

The 1st video was done on paper in a Denny's an dit has just expanded to the point where its to competitve to do on a small budget anymore. Ken calls it cheap, but he is the owner of DC Shoes?!?

16

Ken is GOD!

17

eh.. why not do a rallystage instead?

18

I have to admit I was thoroughly entertained. However, I would never in a million years wear any of those clothes.

19

MOAAAAR BACCOOON!!!!!!! FN AWSOME!

20

its like they triple the budget every new Gymkhana... def over the top...

21

this is lame, its just him filming himself in a staged environment

22

JD sauce and bacon strips!!!!!!!!!!!

23

Cool commercial, but can we stop calling it Gymkhana?

24

Its supposed to be gimmicky.

25

Agreed.. better when just car and skids, all got a little silly there sadly

26

the first two were cool.

this one is meh.

the gymkhana thing is sort of overdone now, no matter how many twists he throws in. he needs to come

up with something new, like maybe being competitive in WRC

27

Too much effects, Not enough stunts with the car!

1st practice movie and the second one were the best!

28

LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!! LAME!!!!

Only a marketing scheme!! Still a rally wanna-be like all the x-game athletes! TOTAL JOKE!!!! SMH!!!

29

Anyone with half a brain could do this if they had three things: lots of money, time, and lots of money. I guarantee that if you gave an unlimited budget to any semi-pro drifter they could do the exact same thing. Sure he's got a bit of talent, but his entire WRC career is a complete failure. He cannot finish a stage without crashing. He's a celebrity, NOT a professional driver. This seems to be a trend: started with Ken Block, then Dave Mirra, Brian Deegan, Travis Pastrana, etc. And they're trying to do the exact same thing with Shaun White. These people are celebrities and corporations have taken note of the "success" of KB's Gymkhana vids and are trying to sell their products through them. It's less and less about driving in every single video.

Seriously, I'd be much more inclined to support this if they had a REAL driver doing it (think Seb Loeb). Not only would the driving be better, but there would be less advertising and more skill. On top of that, Loeb could more than likely do it in one take ;).

30

Same stuff, cooler shots

31

@ Who?MikeJonesWho?MikeJones:

Dude, you nailed it in the head :) Finally someone is seeing this crapping-lame trend among "professional drivers".

I am sick and tired of seeing this sh!tty-marketing been advertized and all the kids fall for it.

I said it before and I will repeat it again: Ken Block should stick to sell his DC Shoes, Dave Mirra should stick to his BMX, Brian Deegan to his FMX, and Pastrana to his MX. They all excell in those sports, but I guess they wanted to get more exposure? money so they began this lame trend. Greedy bastards !

32

was fine the first time but it's not so impressive anymore.

33

i like to see this driver taking some points in WRC championship making this circus stuff

34

i want t o see this guy taking some points in the WRC championship!!! cause i can make this circus triks

35

I think you all need to calm down a bit.

The video is awesome, its meant to be cheesy - hence the start. It's designed to appeal to all levels of car lovers and to an extent some that are not car lovers at all. Its not a competition, its not a race or scored by a panel of judges. Its just 'hooning' about in a car and filming it for others to enjoy.

As for Blocks rally failure....Owner of a massive clothing brand, rich beyond what any of us could comprehend, time on his hands to mess about in cars doing skids and jumps....yeah, i bet he's really pissed with himself.....

36

Nothing beats the original

37

they get worse every time. but it makes sense that its all about "pop" since its aimed at the youtube community and not the auto scene. still, very cool. ken block is still the *bird sound*!

38

so lame.. nothing really all that impressive. he needs to go back to his roots of no music, nothing but the car sounds, and an airfield and a little bit of DRIVING CREATIVITY not FILM CREATIVITY. that is all.

40

Alot of attention towards the antilag but I'm not entirely feelin the new Fiesta.. I liked the Subies from the day better. It'd be neat to see him do a Nurburgring special and/or maybe show off at D1 events. Entertaining video with alot of win... as long as thats not the Hill Valley set he's fuckin up. EMT's got donuts with liquor... more likely with BACON BACON BACON BACON!!!

42

They've pretty much just done a parody of themselves and had a laugh. Its all just tongue in cheek.

43

POS...Boring...Uncool...This is not driving, this is for children...

Blomqvist, Rohlr, Moss, Vatanen, McRae, Toivonen, Kuroi, Brock = Real Drivers

Block = Real Clown

44

Well, its seems the general consensus is that this video sucks. and i totally agree. This isent a short action film, its a kinda long driving clip. Car. Driver.Music. thats all thats necessary. and WTF are the epic Meal Time dudes doing there? WHAT DO THEY HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING!!!! "OMG epic meal time!!!!" WHO GIVES A CRAP! Stop focusing on effects and explosions and start focusing on the drivers ability to drive.

45

I not only find this video to be totally rubbish, but i can also tell that Rob Dyrdek's idiotic mind has been left in charge, it just smacks of MTV Fantasy Factory.

Lets be honest about one thing, Ken Block is a backmarker in WRC, you make a video with the likes of Marcus Gronholm, Sebastian Leob, Jarri-Mati Latvala or Mikko Hirvonen then you will end up with a video thats 100 times better.

Also I find the use of Bollywood to be not only pointless, but also as yet more unnecessary stereotyping of Indians and should be counted as RACISM.

46

Funny the zombie eating a leg with a DC shoe lol

If only Ford would sell an AWD Fiesta to the public...

47

it was definitely entertaining but i have to agree with this statement "I guarantee that if you gave an unlimited budget to any semi-pro drifter they could do the exact same thing."

i think KB is a badass and he deserves whatever he gets.

dude built DC in his garage,he is the man doing as he pleases amongst these shoe giants who i personally don't support and disagree with their business practices.type slave wage and nike in google and look at your "dunks" with pride.

props to Ken and DC, the vid is cool, lets see something more raw next time, something we can all relate to.

48

By now, almost everyone on the internet has seen Gymkhana Four. If you haven't, do so now before proceeding. So with that, let's take our second and final look at the production of the film....

49

thanks god, it's so good to read all you about how lame this is and all that ! i can't agree more.

first one was good: battle between man and machine straight to the point.

this is now more like a commercial where the boss would do the 'stunts' himself to sell his stuff.

sorry ken, i love what you tried to do for love park and all that, trully...but this has to stop...or get gnar again

50

The commercial thing keeps boring me, too bad, because he's a good driver

51

I thought it was ok. I kinda wish Ken dropped the rally thing though. He's obviously a pretty solid driver he's just not up to WRC level. So for his next video I say ditch the rally car and jump in some other stuff to diversify his hooning.

52

TURN BACK TO MADMEDIA PLEAAAAASSSEEEE !!!

53

that was a waste of 9 minutes and 15 seconds of my life.....

54

I thought it was quite entertaining. He's a skilled driver, but just not the best and i don't think he's trying to portray himself as the best tbh.

55

Too much bullshit goin on for my taste.

56

Way too many special crap-ffects, not enough real driving. To be honest, this has to be one of the most boring informercials I have ever watched. I believe that Gymkhana 2 and 2.1 were the best.
