Is the SYMS Impreza Wagon JTCC machine not one of the coolest race cars ever?
Just thought I'd post up a shot of this rare beast I came across during one of my recent Google search journeys…
If there was ever a Station Wagon Hall of Fame, this car would be have to be one of the first inductees…

Love it. Love it, love it...
Love it.
That looks like a model to me.
Got any footage of it?
This car I know had a N/A 2.0L and it wasn't very successful against other cars; especially the Toyotas in it's class. SYMS didn't run this car for very long.
@RougeStatS13: As far as I know, it only raced against Toyota's, and yep it came last in every race it entered which was only afew (iirc).
But I agree, very cool ^^
Its cool because they built a race car out of a wagon.
Years ago, Volvo ran its 850 estates in BTCC too, I found that pretty awesome.
I guess its one of those 'Because we can' things.
Yes!
Love this thing.
F R (2WD)
2.0 N/A
290ps/8250rpm
27.0kgm/7250rpm
GTFO! haha wow
Yes this is awesome!!! This and a famous drift car in the underground Japan scene, inspired me to buy one of these.
This thing is super cool, if I recall it's actually RWD though, running a BMW diff and some sort of sequential transmission
How did I not know about this Impreza? It's so damn cool.

this car is boner jamz 03
Killer wagon!!!! Does anyone knows what model those enkeis are?
If only the powers that be would have a circuit racing series with Pro-Mod like rules so we can see cars like this race. They'd get my money every event.
The excellent car, looks perfectly! Here I live in Russia and very much it would be desirable to see Russian cars in such tuning if it is possible lay out, please photos of Russian cars! Thanks!
love this preza' perfect beast to seriously tear up the track.
The Syms cars were the reason I collected (Japanese) Impreza Magazine. So dope then and 10+ years later.
What spoiler is that?
