Carlos Sainz retook the lead today after scoring a third stage victory of the Rally. Volkswagen remain 1-2-3. Robbie Gordon was third today, which moves him up again, into the top five.

However, my tip for success, Stephane Peterhansel had a miserable day, having to put out a fire in his car. He ended the day with a damaged engine and is unlikely to continue on Sunday. Tomorrow is a much needed rest day
