Rc>>formula D Ae86’s From Kyosho

Kyosho has really been stepping up their Mini-Z line recently. I remember when I bought an AE86 Mini-Z like six years ago and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Now Kyosho has released a pair of of Mini-Z AE86 bodies that are very accurate representations of AE86's that appear stateside in Formula D competition, and one of them Taka Aono's car painted in the classic Falken livery! It's nice to see some Formula D love from a big Japanese company.

According to Kyosho, the cars also come standard with tires that allow for easy drifting.

Looks like Formula D's next stop will be your kitchen floor.

Aono's AE86 looks almost real besides the hub caps....

these Kyosho AE86s look very cool, I'll have to get one for my collection... I want a red one with black bumpers, so it looks like MY zenki AE86. the Taka Aono and Tommy Suell liveries look cool, but neither one looks as aggressive as their actual cars, because the real cars have kouki bumpers and lights, no foglights, and the real cars obviously have more aggressive looking wheels.

either way, since i collect AE86 RC cars and die cast, I'll definitely be looking out for one of these. i want a red one for sure!
