you need something to protect the aluminum and anodizing is much more expensive compared to powder coat, you can see some of the brakes are anodized, and anodize is usually pretty fragile coating, the heat and brake dust would play havoc on it unless its hard anodize

but thats just a educated guess

Best advice i can give is to download a range of free Lightroom presets (there's some good results on Google) and then tweak 'em to create your own filters, purely because every image and camera sensor is different.

Shadows/highlights and curves produce some good dramatic differences. Failing that, split toning is always a vibe - specifically the orange highlights/teal shadows for that cinematic look.

SUPER-cool feature, I knew Alcon was top-notch and this proves they are so. As mentioned, simply pornographic images of the one-piece calipers and really, everything else. Hard to not expect the best with the plethora of high-end equipment they have on hand such as the brake dyno (???)- new one to me as well and fun to see.

Great story on a company that I’ve been reading about for years now.
Also, those are some great colours and tones by Mark. Any special sauce or gear he uses on his photos?

Seeing the machined product was sexy and led me to ask a very simple question: why the don't offer the brakes unpainted and the brand grooved on it? (maybe you can add it to "ask the expert", please)
