It's funny. Some cars take years to materialize, we see concept after concept and keep waiting for the final version to finally make its way to production. The FT-86, or whatever it will be called, comes to mind. On the other hand other cars just pop out of nowhere, just like the Aston Martin V12 Zagato you see in this short film by Marchettino. This simply stunning creation was built to celebrate the 50 years of the first Aston-Zagato collaboration. What a work of art. And yes, it sounds just as good as it looks! Nice, but the back lights look way too much like an Ferrari. Maybe it would look less obvious if it wasn't in Ferrari red.

I think this car is an amazing design, and if the tail lights may seem a little ferrari-ish, the proportions are stunning.
The rear end is a masterpiece.

Aston Martin is just trying to build off of some of the styling cues from the DB7 Vantage Zagato. Such is the case with the taillights. The DB7 Zagato came out in 2002 so maybe its the Ferrari 599 thats a little Aston-ish...in the taillight department at least.

I don't think the rear looks like anything else! It is superb. And if we start taking it to loosely, every car looks like the other beside it, after all, it's a car!
Interesting the exhaust tips are so... like hand made... but very rough... It doesn't matter if that's what it takes to make that sound (jk)!

I totally agree that the first thing that comes to my mind, seeing the first frame of this video, is a Ferrari (Enzo). I know that zagato is italian, but is it racist to think maybe all there (italian) car designs look pretty similiar?

Incredible engine but it looks entirely too much like a Ferrari with the tail lights and red paint, there is no way in heck they didn't realize the similiarities before releasing this vehicle. This car looks like what Ferrari wanted the FF to be.
The car just won in my book. Its like they took the epic sounding Vantage V8 and made it into a V12... making it historic.
I personally think they should've made the tail lights oval to end this Ferrari thing. Oval with a white center.
