While browsing some RC videos with Rod we discovered this fantastic YouTube clip from Korea. These guys have put an insane amount of work into recreating a scaled-down city replica for their RC drifters!

WOW! From certain angles it looks real. They even have a movie trailer. Im surprised the cars dont have smoke emiters. Great attention to detail. I wonder how long did it take to build the track?

4

Something else for my Christmas list.

5

This looks pretty awesome. It gave me an idea tho, what if those people that would like to drift but don't have the means to do so combine video game racing cockpits with these cars. That'd be awesomer.

6

how much for a rc like that ??

7

can't watch it in germany :(

9

wat song was that ?

11

That is bloody awesome!... I like everything about this vid.... except that awful music.

12

Best drift video I've ever seen.

13

Do these cars have tricks like driven front wheels or independent front/rear brakes, or are these guys really just ridiculously skilled?

14

this made my day.. that's amazing!

15

This is insane! I love the tiny details that make this look like real life cars.

It must be loads of fun to mess around with these cars.

@Jalisurr

Most of these RC Drift cars are 4WD, which is apparent when you look at the front wheel motion closely.

Common RC Drift chassis' include Tamiya's TT-01D and HPI's Pro-D

17

Those guys will propably never get laid.

18

wooooowww muy vakno!! quiero uno asi !

19

How do they get them to do that?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4trQaHaWA8w&feature=related there is a good video guys in this video are actually counter steering they acuire this by having the rear overdrive the front (the rear tires spin faster than the front) thus making it act more like a rwd car the cars also run a one way front differential that locks while going forward but when the breaks are applied it allows the front wheels to spin free and locks up the rear similar to a handbrake its a cool sport... they also have a scaled down ebisu somewhere on you tube but i cant find it

21

impressive. But with the money spent on those RC's you'd probably coulb buy a real drift car :). Stll, those things look amazing
