I take my hat off to the organizers that year after year organize what, in a relatively short period of time, has become the most fiercely contended time attack event in the world. This recently released video created by Luke Huxham brings us face to face with the men behind it all. And seeing we are right in the middle of the Japanese time attack season, the timing is just perfect. I for one can’t wait to see how WTAC develops in 2013! Start your stopwatches!
If there’s one thing I’m sure everyone who attended the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge will agree on, it’s the fact that there was never a dull moment during the two-day event. Apart from a few moments spent mopping up fluid spills, the GP circuit at Sydney Motorsport Park was in constant use from 9am [...]
Ever since Superlap Australia announced the new World Time Attack Challenge back in 2010 I’ve been meaning to jump on plane at jet across the Tasman Sea to catch the action first hand. It seems like only yesterday that the Speedhunters crew were in Sydney covering the World Time Attack Challenge. But a year has past, and once again some of the world’s quickest time attack machines have congregated at Eastern Creek’s Sydney Motorsport Park to chase the ultimate lap time. My day started early Thursday morning with a 4.30am [...]
Teams and drivers at Eastern Creek are getting ready for a weekend of Time Attack action as this year’s WTAC kicks off tomorrow. Hankook Tire Australia have just released this video highlighting last year’s action from their sponsored teams’ perspective. So hit play and get yourself into some Time Attack mood!
It’s been a tough last couple of weeks for the Japanese teams that will be participating at this year’s World Time Attack Challenge (WTAC) down in Australia. With everyone after a win, or at least a podium finish, there has been a ton of fine tuning, testing and developing that needed to be done and [...]
